崔成范表示，接下来死亡人数还可能继续上升，且目前具体受伤人数不详，情况相当严峻。
韩国当地媒体稍早报导，疑似一名身份不明的名人到访梨泰院酒吧后，吸引大批人群涌向该间酒吧，因此在一条狭窄街道上酿成推挤踩踏意外。
