冬季风暴席卷美国 1000多架航班取消

由于强烈的冬季风暴席卷美国，进出美国的航班有1000多架次被取消，其中约一半来自西南航空公司（Southwest Airlines Co.）。

路透社报导，根据世界航班追踪网站FlightAware统计，截至美国东部时间下午6时，共有1019架次航班被取消。

廉价航空公司西南航空因为面临恶劣天气，加上采用过时的调度系统，而在假期时取消1万6700架次航班，于1月初引起美国政府批评。

西南航空今天取消约12%航班，美国航空集团（American Airlines Group Inc）则取消6%，相当于200架次。

美国联邦航空总署（FAA）日前因电脑系统当机，造成全国出现停飞的状况，如今航空业已恢复运作，但现在又有航班受天气影响取消。

西南航空和其他美国主要航空公司已发布冬季天气豁免通知，乘客若依相同订位舱等更改行程，可免收价差。
