阿富汗东部强震至少1000人丧命 联合国出手援助

阿富汗官员22日表示，境内东部的偏远边境地区在一夜之间遭规模6.1强震侵袭，至少有1000人死亡、数百人受伤，随着救难人员在倒塌民房中拼命挖掘，预计伤亡人数将持续增加。

美国地质调查所（USGS）指出，这起强震发生于巴基斯坦边界附近，震央在距离阿富汗东南部城市柯斯特（Khost）约44公里处。
灾情严重的巴克迪卡省（Paktika）资讯和文化部门负责人胡扎法（Mohammad Amin Huzaifa）表示：「民众正一个接一个地挖著坟墓。」他还说，光是巴克迪卡省就有至少1000人丧命。
他告诉记者：「当地还在下雨，所有房屋都震毁。民众仍被困在瓦砾堆之下。」

稍早，巴克迪卡省一位部落首领指出，幸存者和救难人员正忙着帮助那些受影响的灾民。
曼佐（Yaqub Manzor）透过电话告诉法新社：「当地市场已经关闭，所有人都已赶往受灾地区。」
