11 月 9 日在 Castro Valley 卡斯特羅谷的 Meet in the Street 花燈街車遊行活動，就是當地居民為年底佳節暖場的活動之一。當天除了街頭節慶一定不能少的現場樂團表演，各商家也都會推出各式商品、食物、服務的優惠折扣，讓社區居民好好辦年貨、迎假期～

重頭戲花燈街車遊行則在接近傍晚登場！來自當地社區的教堂、學校、服務性團體、古董車車隊及服務犬等等，將盛裝打扮並搭乘其精心設計的花燈街車，角逐年度最佳遊行團體、學校團體、燈光、音樂等獎項！
