擴增現實（Augmented Reality，簡稱 AR），透過攝影機影像的位置及角度精算並加上圖像分析技術，讓屏幕上虛擬世界能夠與現實世界場景進行結合與互動。
這種技術最初在 1990年推出，隨著手機和隨身電子產品運算能力的提升，AR 的用途也越來越廣，去年7月， Augmented Reality 擴增實境遊戲開發商推出了《Pokemon GO》，隨即轟動全球，至今仍有不少「訓練員」在街上捉精靈
