許多小行星也會一再返回，進行重複造訪。2022 NX1 小行星曾在1981年和2022年成為迷你月亮，預計將於2051年再次回歸。最好的例子之一是2006 RH120，它在2006年7月至2007年7月間繞地球運行了一整年。這種現象似乎很規律穩定，以至於一些研究人員聲稱地球總是有一顆迷你月亮潛伏在某處!!
